Ένα Άλμπουμ Γάμου ή αλλιώς «Ψηφιακό Άλμπουμ» είναι η καλύτερη απόδειξη για την ποιότητα και το επίπεδο του επαγγελματία φωτογράφου που θα επιλέξετε για το Γάμο σας. Επίσης θα είναι το μόνο πράγμα που θα σας μείνει για να θυμάστε εκείνη την ξεχωριστή ημέρα. Πόσες φορές βλέπετε φωτογραφικά άλμπουμ στο σπίτι των γονιών ή των φίλων σας με φωτογραφίες από τους παπούδες κτλ. Πολλά πολλά χρόνια μετά από εμάς, τα παιδιά και τα εγγόνια θα έχουν αυτό το οικογενειακό άλμπουμ ώς κειμίλιο για θα θυμούνται ακόμα τα πρόσωπα της οικογένειας από εκείνο το Γάμο. Μοιράζομαι με τους αναγνώστες του blog μου αυτό το όμορφο άλμπουμ από τα Γάμο της Joanna και του Παντελή και τη βάπτιση της μικρής του κόρης στο νησί της Αίγινας.

Το Πορτραίτο ενός νέου Πολιτικού

Κάθε πορτραίτο είναι μοναδικό. Όχι μόνο λόγω της τέχνης που εμπεριέχει αλλά και από το πώς αισθάνεσαι για αυτόν που φωτογραφίζεις. Επίσης έχει να κάνει και με το πως αισθάνεται εκείνος για αυτόν αλλά και για σένα εκείνη την ώρα. Κάποιες φορές ίσως να έχω κάτι στο μυαλό μου πριν ξεκινήσω να φωτογραφίζω, κάποιες άλλες όμως όχι. Ο Πέτρος είναι ένας νέος πολιτικός ή ένας πολιτικός νέας γενιάς. Πιστεύω πως δεν είναι ιδανικοί καιροί για πολιτικούς, μόνο για ανθρώπους με πολιτική συνείδηση. Όταν πιστεύεις σε αυτό, το να φωτογραφίσεις ένα πολιτικό γίνεται ακόμα δυσκολότερο. Πρέπει να δείς κάτι περισσότερο εσωτερικό, πέρα από την εμφάνιση. Οι πολιτικοί είναι αρκετά δύσκολο θέμα. Ξέρουν πως φαίνονται καλύτερα και τι φωτογραφίες θέλουν να παρουσιάσουν. Δημιούργησα αυτό το πορτραίτο για μια συνέντευξη πριν μερικές ημέρες, προσπαθώντας να δείξω πώς εγώ θα ήθελα να δω έναν νέο πολιτικό. Η συνέντευξη στο www.aeginanews.gr

Every portrait I take is special. Not only because of the artistry necessary. It’s all about the way you feel for your subject. It’s also about how he feels and the mood he is in. I may sometimes have an objective in mind or I may sometimes let my instinct guide me. Petros is a young politician. Of course now is not the right time for politicians, only for political people. When you are convinced of this, it is even harder to produce an image for a public servant. You need to see through him, under the surface, more than his clothes. Politicians make this more difficult, they know exactly how to project their image in the best way possible. Το Πορτραίτο μιας Παραδοσιακής Ψαρόβαρκας της Αίγινας

Βαρύς Χειμώνας έπιασε! Περπατώ στο λιμάνι της Αίγινας μαζί με έναν από τους καλύτερους μου φίλους, την Canon! Είναι ξεχωριστή βραδιά. Η πρώτη νύχτα του 2012. Με ενημέρωσαν πως θα πέσουν κάποια πυροτεχνήματα και πήγα να το καλύψω για το www.aeginanews.gr. Έφτασα σχετικά νωρίς με αποτέλεσμα να έχω χρόνο για μερικές χειμωνιάτικες εικόνες από το λιμάνι της Αίγινας. Ανάμεσα σε κάποιους μοναχικούς περαστικούς μια παραδοσιακή βάρκα φάνηκε να με παρακολουθεί! Ίσως κάτι να περίμενε, ένα πορτραίτο; Η αγαπημένη μου φωτογραφία ακολουθεί. Winter Time!! I am walking on Aegina Island with one of my best friend by my side, my canon camera! It’s a special night. The first Day of 2012. I heard that some fireworks will blow up the air and I went to capture the show for the www.aeginanews.gr. I was there a bit early so I had the time to capture some photos of Aegina island at wintertime. Some people walking alone and the traditional Greek Fishing boat looks like watching me, waiting for something, maybe a portrait photo… My favorite picture follows. Βαγγέλης & Σοφία Γάμος στην Αίγινα

Ο Γάμος του Βαγγέλη και της Σοφίας πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Κυψέλη της Αίγινας. Ήταν μια ημέρα γεμάτη κέφι και χαμόγελο και από τα παιδιά αλλά και τους καλεσμένους του γάμου. Ετσι μου δώθηκε η δυνατότητα να τους χαρίσω πολλές αυθόρμητες φωτογραφίες καθ όλη τη διάρκεια της ημέρας. Αμέσως ακολούθησε η φωτογράφιση στην περιοχή των Αγίων κοντά στο ξενοδοχείο Ίριδες. Walking on London’s streets, watching the crowd, the shapes of the buildings, the atmosphere, feeling the energy of a so powerful city. I couldn’t capture anything else than hard and powerful pictures. The light wasn’t there, maybe a bit. Trying to be the leading actor of the city. Red is the color of the city, I many versions. I trying not to see it, its very strong, almost get over everything.
