The wedding of Yiorgos and Anna is the proof that you can have a unique wedding to remember in the winter time, with your own unique style! They decided to make their wedding in the center of Athens at Dionisios Areopagitis church at Kolonaki. The preparation of the Bride and the groom and the venue took place at King George Palace Hotel at Syntagma Square with the great view of Acropolis.
Catalina and Jaime coming from China. Catalina is a fashion designer from Romania and Jaime is an interior designer from Peru. They decide to make their wedding in Greece and specially in Athens! They love Athens and Greek culture that’s why they decide to meet each families for first time here. Just a mini van was enough to carry the 7 people coming from 3 different countries! The Wedding took place in Agia Skepi Papagou and right after we moved to Plaka, Monastiraki and Acropolis for the location family shooting. A small stop at Kavouri was also a “mast have” Photo-shoot for them with the blue color of the sea on the background. The unique wedding completed with a privet dinner at the Island Lounge… One more time with the full moon over our heads! I wish you the best citizens of the world!
Every wedding is a new photographic challenge for me. I am trying to give my best as a wedding photographer, as an artist. Its not easy when you try to combine light, shapes and feelings in every photo you capture. Here is Lynn and Jonathan wedding in Aegina Greece. It was a non orthodox wedding in an orthodox church of Agia Marina by the sea. Many couple’s friends came to Greece from England to enjoy their wedding. The preparation of the bride took place in Rastoni Hotel in the center of Aegina Island, very close from the groom’s house. The weather in the end of August was fine so we have great light for the photoshoot right after the wedding. The party took place at Hotel Klonos Anna Hotel and the DJ Takis Tsopanos did his best for all of us to have a great party. The food was from Aiakeion Catering. I stayed all the time covering Lynn’s preparation and stayed with her on the way for the ceremony so I had the opportunity to capture some great pictures with her father in the room looking outside the window, leaving for the church with a horse and on the way to Agios Nikolas. After the ceremony we moved walking to La Luz club restaurant at the old harbor of Spetses.
Traveling is one of the most interesting things in a photographer’s life. You See many places and you meet different people in their important moments, capturing their happiness and their personality. I have been in Gytheio before a couple of weeks for the Wedding of Mairy and Antonis at the chapel of Agios Petros.
There is many things I could say about Maria’s and Lefteri’s Wedding in Agistri. First of all, I want to thank both of them not just because they booked me, but also because it was the first and lucky Wedding of the 2012 I booked an it was a good year for me! The second thing is about the pictures we made together and the great time we spend in Agistri on my B-day(!) from the preparation until the end. The Third is the special moments like the dancing on the beach (she is a dancer) and the priest that was late about 30min after the couple came at the church. Finally I would like to thank them for the confidence of some special pictures. The wedding party took place at Oasis Hotel. My favorite photos of their wedding follows.
What you mean when you say “A special wedding in Greece”? You probably mean a wedding with a lot of sun, beaches, traditional Greek food, wine Greek music and a lot of friends, family and happiness! This is how the wedding of Martin and Luise was. Luise visit Agistri Island until she was nine (with her family off course!). She is from Norway and she met with Martin in London. I went to Agistri Island the same day of the wedding at Hotel Andreas. I loved he background of the ceremony with a backyard full of olive oils! After the ceremony we moved with all the couple friend at the beach for the location shooting and then back to the Hotel Andreas because we was a bit hungry!
