Wedding in Aegina Petros and Fotini

Every wedding, like life itself, is a journey. You choose a route, find the seat printed on your ticket and set off. You travel with people you had never met before and the journey becomes an opportunity to bring you together. You begin to share, to grow closer and experience the common stages of the journey. For me, Petros is one of those people – a fellow traveller on the journey of creativity, discovery and growth. At some point, the remaining seats on the ship are taken, like the one for Fotini, to whom he gave a ticket for the place next to him as they decided to embark on their own journey: a shared life and common goal of raising a family. If we assume that a collective life is the only road to evolving as humans, then the family is the first destination. Friends and colleagues of mine over the last few years, I was fortunate to be able to share another beautiful and creative day with them, the essential process of personal growth. I wish you a long and happy life.

Petros and Fotini’s civil wedding ceremony took place at Aegina Town Hall. We thank them for the sweets offered at the traditional café under the Town Hall, and the experience of photographing them at one of our favorite sites, Aegina’s ancient olive grove. The couple’s day of celebration was rounded off at Manitas Restaurant. Photographs of the happy event follow.
