Maria & Vasilis Wedding in Agios Vasilis Aegina

One of the best working days of a wedding photographer, is when he has to photograph clients that are care most of everything, to enjoy their moments and nothing else! This kind of couple was Vasilis and Maria and I am glad that I capture their beautiful moments. Vasilis and Maria are born in Greece and the last years are living abroad. The love for their country and their families made them choose one of their favourite Islands in Greece for their wedding, Aegina.

Both Vasilis and Maria have artistic influences and sensitivities, where they express them through music sing and photography! From our first meeting we had common artistic fields to discuss further than the details of the wedding day!

The wedding photography started with the groom and bride preparation at Aelia Villa, close to Perdika Village in Aegina. Maria and Vasilis both gated prepared in the same time, almost in the same space. On the first look photos, the groom took his quitar and star and he sand live to the Maria the first wedding song of the day.
During my almost 20 year career in wedding photography, I find my self still getting emotional excited in moments like this. Same for my partner videographer Thanasis Patistas, that I see him having a distinctive smile behind his video viewfinder.

The wedding photography continued under the bright evening light of Agios Vasilis Chapel, in front of the small beach between the reach blue sea, white and yellow tones of the sand. To complete the scene, Thanasis Karakasis added a magic touch on the flowers decoration on the chapel’s entrance. During the ceremony we had the joy to feel the spiritual sense of togetherness between the couple and the joy they emmited, right after the end!

In the same way the Villa Aelia venue was waiting to offer a great sunset view with a tasty dinner catered by Nontas Catering. Every little detail was organised with care by Karakasis Events.
For the next day couple photos I always trust the wonderfull area of Perdika and my tripod. Best wishes to Maria and Vasilis to share their every day life like their wedding day!!!
