Destination Baptism Photography at Moni Pedelis - Athens
Yianni’s Baptism ceremony was held in the popular monastery of Pedeli, north Athens, surrounded by stone brick walls and cells. Yianni’s parents and guests walked across the marbled entrance of the monastery way to the old chapel. My favorite memory from this baptism was the ambient light indoor and outdoor of the monastery and the green tone of the yard.
We have been lucky to travel for destination baptisms all over Greece, but the Monastery of Pedeli continues to be one of the places we get the most excited about for the environment, important for every baptism photography session.
The baptism time and location was the perfect setting for little Yiannis photos and guests experience as well. Maybe that was the reason that he was happy and smiley all the day! I want to thank Katerina and Yiorgos for choosing and trusting me to capture this special day for them and their little son… My favorite photos follows, enjoy!
