Amazing Wedding in Island Club Varkiza for Alvini and Tarik

A neoclassical house in the center of Athens with gorgeous interior full of vintage objects. A happy couple full of love and totally out of stress. Couple’s Parents full of hospitality and kindness. A wonderful photoshoot by the sea. An amazing wedding ceremony at Island Club restaurant Varkiza. Was all these ingredients that a blow up this wedding in Varkiza Athens. Alvini and Tarik lives in Paris and after their first wedding in Paris a couple of months ago, they decided to make one more wedding in Greece!

I first met them at their preparation before the wedding at Kipseli, in one of the most beautiful houses of the area. The second floor with the big round room and huge windows was the perfect space for their preparations. Lots of textures… From the painted rooftop, to the wall colours, the floral fireplace, the wooden floors and the vintage objects from all over the world was made me feel nervous… “I will need hours to capture everything that I would like to have in my pictures”!

The wedding in Island Varkiza Athens

Then we moved for the wedding to the Island club in Varkiza. The timing and the background was perfect for the couple’s photoshoot at the ideal location of Island’s Private House and Church. The ceremony was very emotional with couple’s parents and friends speeches. A wonderful and tasty reception of Aria Catering came next ended up with cutting the cake and first dance… The Greek traditional music for one more time was there until the first morning hours… And… Now It is time for my favourite wedding photographs.
