Wedding at Agios Konstantinos Glyfada for Rosa and George
I am so excited posting this beautiful wedding at Agios Konstantinos in Glyfada of Rosa and George. One of the greatest things in the difficult field of wedding photography in Greece I have chosen, is that you met people and hear their stories from all over the world. These stories blow up your mind when you final see the happy end of each wedding… The only truth is the happiness you clearly feel in the wedding day and in each couple’s eyes… I will keep a priest words from a recent wedding in Athens… “In every wedding in Greece the wish to the couple is “Vion Anthosparton” that means a common life full of flowers. “This is not really truth” the priest said to the couple and continued… “None wedding is a common life full of flowers… The difficulties are always more than the happiness. You have to find little happy moments and make them every day more and more… After some years your wedding will become a happy common life without bad thoughts and worries…”
The wedding at Glyfada
The couple met in Japan where George works the last 2 years. The church of Agios Konstantinos is very popular for weddings in Glyfada. So usually there is many weddings in a row and you cant have a relaxing and enjoyfull wedding photography. This midweek wedding gave me the chance to enjoy the beautiful church and the couple without any rush. Many friends of the couple came from Japan and some of them was wearing the traditional Japanese costumes!
After the end of the wedding in Agios Konstantinos I shot some portraits of the couple in the beautiful interior of the church with the red curtains on the background… Rosa threw the bouquet and we moved to the party at Best Western Fenix Hotel at Glyfada… After the couple’s speeches and their tears of happiness, a beautiful party came next! Here comes my favourite photos!
