Leandros Baptism at Agioi Anargyroi Aegina

Each baptism photo shoot has its own meaning, both for the protagonists and for the photographer. However I am forced to make a selection of recent baptism photos in Aegina and share them, having something to say about the photos and beyond them.

The baptism of Leandros took place in the small seaside chapel of Agioi Anargyroi in Aegina. The guests were relatively few surrounded my their warm feelings! Most of the guests arrived by van shortly before the mystery process began. The photography of the baptism started with some images outside the church with the parents and relatives arriving happily and continued with the rest of the guests. Of course the protagonist who stood out throughout the mystery with his patience and sweetness. How beautiful it is that all the guests can, even for a while, enjoy the peace in the eyes of a child. And how this is sometimes transferred as a gift to anyone. This peace, the security, the sweetness. I don’t know if I manage to capture it through the pictures. However, the essence lies behind the images and is sometimes transferred through them.
Immediately after the christening, we moved to the Kavouropetra restaurant, to enjoy the tasty meal with the theme of the port of the same name and the wonderful warm evening light.
