Nestled in the serene beauty of Aegina, Nikolas and Iphigenia’s wedding at Villa Archangelos was a celebration of love, music, and tradition. As an amateur singer and dancer, Iphigenia brought unique artistry to the day, which I captured through a blend of documentary and portrait photography. Each image reflects the authentic emotions and elegance of a Greek island wedding, with natural light and candid moments telling their story. At Nikolas and Iphigenia’s wedding, I approached each wedding photograph with a focus on both artistry and authenticity, balancing natural light with intimate, candid moments. Villa Archangelos provided an idyllic canvas, and I let its organic beauty and Attica light influence each frame. My goal was to capture not only the visible details—the delicate lace of Iphigenia’s dress, the warm, golden light over the gardens, the laughter of guests—but also the deeper, emotional layers that make each wedding unique.

Working in a documentary style, I prioritized storytelling, capturing moments as they unfolded rather than staging scenes. This approach allowed me to photograph the natural dynamics of Nikolas and Iphigenia’s relationship. Each image is a blend of portraiture and candid photography that reflects the spontaneity and joy of the day.
