Set against the soft sunset over the Saronic Gulf, the taverna’s terrace buzzed with guests, many of whom had flown in from the USA, joined by Alexander’s family, rooted in the soul of Aegina. This Greek island always provides a beautiful canvas, but this night brought something more—an authentic expression of love, culture, and community.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel it: a true traditional Greek wedding atmosphere, even though the big day was still ahead.
