Greek actors Vicky Papadopoulou and Yiorgos Papageorgiou for K Magazine

Every year, Kathimerini’s newspaper K Magazine makes a tribute about Greek actors and the most interesting theatrical performances that will take place in Athens in fall and winter months. This is the second photoshoot I have been chosen to do for this tribute. I have posted the first in Palace theater last week.

Two young and talented Greek actors, Vicky Papadopoulou and Yiorgos Papageorgiou will act in  “Venus in Fur” performance at Thision Theater. The industrial space of the theater is suitable for minimal style photographs focused on subject which is… The actors.

I love grey and grungy backgrounds like the theater’s walls. I found a yellow vintage chic chair, which helped me to make one of my favorite images. I decide to go for a medium length shot to fill the images with the actors and the appropriate background and style details. One of them was the fur that vicky wears and it is also the main subject of the performance. Here is the photos that had been chosen and was published on 5 October 2013.
